Umraao Jaan |
so, at last, Anu Malik's brought out his A-game. he was good in Zindaggi Rocks, pretty good in Jai Santoshi Maa, and awesome in Jaan-E-Mann, but this Umraao Jaan really takes a cake and gives even SEL a run for their money! looks like the battle lines have been drawn: himesh is out of the competition now and anu malik, SEL, and vishal shekhar are gonna fight it out! ehsaan, do you have any opinion of Umraao Jaan? the melodies are sooo pretty, its surprising | 06 Oct 2006 03:43 |

Composing Battle Game Show |
It looked like it was one when I read Prasad's post! I almost thought it to be a cricket match. I am glad it is not a battle. Anu Malik's Umrao Jaan on its own is great but in comparison to Khayaam's it pales, though the two cannot be compared. The orchestration and instrumentation is different. I hope that soon SEL will be given the chance to display their histrionics with a historic subject. That would be very cool | 06 Oct 2006 12:18 |

Anu Malik |
I think that Anu Malik has beat the original Khayyam's music although you can never forget "In Ankhon Ki masti", you have to take into account that anu's umrao jaan is much better alka's voice is much sweeter then asha's voice (at that time) Umrao Jaan is a winner all the way also himesh is not out, he has a dozen of albums coming out starting december or january, this is also anu's last album for a long time now vishal-shekher music will me pouring out for the next month and also SEL's Salaam E Ishq | 07 Oct 2006 01:25 |
